Built for NDIS Practitioners, by Someone Who Saw the Problem Up Close.
LAIT exists because the people doing the hardest work in disability support deserve tools that actually understand what they do.
Where LAIT Came From
Anthony Marquez managed the technology behind Lotus Assist — an NDIS provider in Queensland founded by Helen and Nicole Marquez. He set up their systems, built automations, and tried to make the tools work for the practitioners who depended on them.
What he saw from that seat was practitioners buried in documentation. Progress notes, behaviour support plans, incident reports — hours every week lost to paperwork. The systems they relied on weren’t built for NDIS work. They’d been repurposed from other industries, and extracting meaningful analytics or insights from them was a constant battle.
Anthony saw a clear need for specialist solutions — built specifically with practitioners, for practitioners — with deep analytics and AI architecture at their core. That’s why he built LAIT, hand-in-hand with his founding partner Lotus Assist. Not as an afterthought, but designed around their actual workflows and the critical items needed for each individual work stream.
Why This Matters
There is a real gap between what AI promises and what NDIS providers actually need. Generic AI tools send your data overseas, train on your inputs, and have no concept of NDIS Practice Standards or the Australian Privacy Act.
NDIS practitioners deserve tools built by people who understand the work intimately — not just the workflows, but the frustration of systems that weren’t designed for them. Tools where data sovereignty is a baseline, not an afterthought. Tools with real analytics, real AI, and real understanding of NDIS outcomes.
