Operators, not vendors

NDIS-specific automation and AI, built from inside the work.

LAIT is a small Australian team that spent years inside a working NDIS provider. We know where the work breaks, and we build the automation, the tools and the AI to take it off your people. Subscribe to Chat — our private NDIS assistant, live today. Need something the off-the-shelf vendors won’t make? We also build Specialist Risk Assessment systems shaped to your service. Beyond that, talk to us about whatever’s eating your week.

What’s ready to go right now

Two things are live today. Everything else, we’ll build with you.

We’re not pretending to be a six-product suite. We’re a small Australian team shipping the things that work and being honest about the things we’re still building. Here’s what we can stand up for your service this month.

LAIT Chat — your team’s private NDIS assistant

Claude-powered. Reads the plans, drafts the notes, talks to your other tools, and never sends a participant’s name overseas to train a model someone else owns. Works on its own. Plays well with anything else we build for you later.

  • Australian-hosted, Australian-owned — the data lives where the NDIS expects it to live
  • Sign in with Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace; your tenant, your boundaries
  • Upload your own documents and policies — answers cite them, not the open internet
  • Full audit trail of every interaction
  • Shaped against real NDIS workflows: progress notes, plan reviews, behaviour support, claim narratives

Subscription product — billed monthly, no lock-in. Self-serve sign-up is on the way; for now we set your team up on a 30-minute onboarding call. We’ll size the subscription to your team in conversation.

Specialist Risk Assessment — built to fit your service

Not a template, not a form. We design and stand up a working Specialist Risk Assessment system shaped to the way your coordinators, behaviour clinicians, or allied team actually run it — your categories, your ratings, your sign-off flow, your review cadence. Lives in LAIT, owned by you, integrates with Chat from day one.

  • We sit with your team and design the categories, ratings and language around your service
  • AI assistants on every field — so the typing is short, but the reasoning is yours
  • Permanent register, full revision history, supervisor sign-off, automatic review reminders
  • Lives standalone today; folds into our coordination and behaviour-support apps as they ship
  • We build it. You own the configuration. You can take an export at any time.

Scoped per service. No “starts from” number — we agree the build with you up front, in writing, before anyone signs anything.

Designed AI-first

AI woven through the workflow — not bolted onto a CRM.

Most NDIS software either has no AI or has a help-chat widget pinned to the corner of a 2015 interface. We’re building LAIT the other way around. Every surface we ship is designed from the start to be read and written by AI — the typing gets short, the reasoning stays with the practitioner.

You can feel that today in two places. Chat runs on Model Context Protocol (MCP) architecture that’s ready to read from and write to every other LAIT surface as those surfaces ship. Risk Assessment already has AI assistants on every field of the register — short typing, long thinking, no copy-paste round-trip into another tab.

What you’ll see next: Chat reading the participant’s full picture across every LAIT surface and drafting the note. Risk fields populating from coordinator activity. Behaviour support plans assembled with the same field-level AI pattern. We’re not pretending the integrated whole is here today — but the architecture is built to deliver it as the rest of the platform ships.

How an engagement actually starts

Three honest ways in.

However we end up working together, it starts with a 30-minute call and a real look at your workflows — not a sales script.

Have us design and ship something specific

The Risk Assessment system is the clearest example, but it’s not the only one. If you’ve got a recurring, paperwork-heavy job that’s eating your good people, that’s the shape of work we’re built to take.

Scope a build

Build with us

Shape something new alongside us

We’re working on coordination of supports, plan management, behaviour support and allied health practice management — alongside real providers. If you want to be one of the providers shaping how those work, that conversation is open.

Why this exists

Built inside an NDIS business. Run by someone who has done the IT for the work.

LAIT started inside a working NDIS provider — Lotus Assist, whose main service runs out of Newcastle NSW with arms in Brisbane and the Gold Coast, and plan management across Australia. I was the one setting up the systems, watching practitioners get buried under documentation, and watching the off-the-shelf tools either send participant data overseas or simply not understand what an NDIS workflow looks like. So we started building our own — first for ourselves, then for the providers around us.

Everything we ship has been pressure-tested against real participants’ work, real claim cycles, real behaviour support plans and real coordinator caseloads. That’s the bar. If it can’t earn its keep on a Tuesday morning in a busy office, we don’t ship it.

We brought LAIT in to take the paperwork off our practitioners. What we got was an actual operator who understands the work — not a vendor with a feature list.

Proof, not roadmap

Built inside Lotus Assist. Used by other providers next.

LAIT didn’t start as a SaaS pitch. It started as the in-house automation we wrote for Lotus Assist — our first customer and the NDIS provider this team has run the IT for. Lotus Assist’s main service runs out of Newcastle NSW with arms in Brisbane and the Gold Coast, and plan management across Australia — which is to say, this work has been pressure-tested across direct support and across a national PM caseload, not just one site. Here’s a sample of what’s already running on real participants’ work today. None of these are products you need to subscribe to to engage with us — they’re proof that when we say “we know NDIS workflows,” we mean it.

Plan management

Running in testing

Invoice extraction + NDIS code mapping

A six-tier code-mapping cascade that takes a provider’s invoice PDF and lands every line on the right NDIS support item — replacing manual data entry that was eating a plan manager’s day.

Behaviour support

Live with a small group

PBSP referral-through-reporting flow

A single workspace for referrals, functional assessments, positive behaviour support plans and restrictive-practice reporting — used by clinicians today.

Coordination of supports

In design

Simple yet powerful coordinator workspace

Easy capture of support coordinator billables. AI drafts case notes straight from emails, risk assessments built in, kilometre tracking native — not a bolt-on. Early days; designing the shape with Lotus Assist’s COS team now.

Allied health

Scoping with practices

Bookings + NDIS billing for allied practices

Allied health practice automation with NDIS billing baked in instead of bolted on — multi-clinician, session notes, outcome tracking.

If something in here looks like your week — let’s talk.

What’s not on this card grid: whatever specific thing has been on your “I wish someone built…” list for three years. We’re built to take work that shape.

Common questions

No. Chat is a subscription product — we’ll size the seats and the monthly with you on the onboarding call. A Risk Assessment build is scoped per service. Either way, you see the number in writing before you sign anything. A self-serve subscription page is on the roadmap.

In Australia, in Google Cloud’s australia-southeast1 region. Not the US. Not Europe. Not “soon to be Australia.”

No. Your conversations, documents and participant records are not training data — ours, our partners’, or anyone else’s.

Yes. Chat is its own subscription and works on its own. If we end up building something else with you later, it slots in. If we don’t, it still does its job. Month-to-month, no lock-in.

That’s fine. We can build the Risk Assessment as a standalone tool configured to your service. It folds into the rest of LAIT later if you ever want it to.

Tell us. If it’s a recurring, paperwork-heavy job that practitioners hate doing, we’re probably interested.

We’ve built this from inside a working NDIS provider (Lotus Assist — NSW + QLD direct support, PM nationally). We know what restrictive-practice reporting looks like at 4:45pm on a Friday. If you want a sales call, we’re the wrong people. If you want operators, that’s us.

You can take your data out at any time. We’d rather earn the next month than trap you in this one.

Ready when you are

Tell us about your service.

Thirty minutes. We look at how your team actually works, you tell us what’s eating the week, and we tell you honestly whether Chat, a Risk Assessment build, or a bigger conversation is the right shape.

No demo theatre. No “discovery process.” A real conversation with the person doing the building.
